Well this is good timing. Having just gotten our furnace replaced from our oil munching stegosaurus in our basement to a nice new 95% efficient natural gas unit, I’ve just become aware of this awesome looking thermostat from the people that brought you the iPod.

Here’s something useful that I came upon recently.
A while ago I was looking for a TV, and I was split between those offered by Samsung (their LCD’s) and those from Panasonic (Plasmas) and other than the obvious difference of LCD vs. Plasma I was concerned with the look of the TV (it does end up sitting pretty prominently in your living room after all).
