Joshua Davis’s work caught my eye as I was walking through a Japanese book shop in SF the other day. It’s pretty rare that a magazine cover can stop me in my tracks and suck me in, so I was intrigued by his work. It turns out that his work is composed of about 50% programming self assembling art programs and 50% feeding those programs actual original art. It’s pretty fascinating stuff, so go check out his site or an interview where talks about the creative process here.
